MMSA looks forward to gathering methanol players from around the world to meet, collaborate and share business insights.

 Global methanol markets continue to struggle with China yet to fully re-emerge, a war continuing in Europe, and a tightening of global monetary policy. Longer term, methanol markets continue to be involved with the transition away from fossil-based energy towards renewable energy. This “greening” of the energy system will create several opportunities for methanol and its derivatives. Since last year, it is clear that the use of lower carbon intensity versions of methanol as a marine fuel has made great inroads, with a sizeable number of vessels able to consume such products when and if they become available. All of these opportunities come with risks and costs, which will be addressed at the event.

Meanwhile, methanol pricing is benefitting some more than others. Although at high historic levels, some combination of prices rising and/or costs falling much transpire to support investment in new, “greener” production capacity and “greening” of existing assets. MMSA has designed the event to address the outlook for methanol markets from a broad array of perspectives.

This conference, which allows the world’s major commercial participants to cost-effectively network, meet, and prepare for the following year’s business, has become a “must-attend” event.
