MMSA will again gather methanol players from around the world in Singapore this November at the industry’s major internationally focused Asia-based methanol event. It has been clear for a decade that the Asian region is dictating the fate of global methanol markets, yet sustainability of growth has come into question as demand outstrips supply and methanol prices near their ceilings. As pricing threatens the viability of applications that have driven growth (especially methanol-to-olefins and methanol in transportation fuels), buyers are combing the world for new supplies, which appear slow in coming. MMSA has designed the event to address the sustainability of methanol markets from a broad array of perspectives. Topics will include:

  • Coal and Energy Outlooks
  • Global Methanol Market Analyses (including focus on China, India, Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe) by seasoned MMSA consultants and select others
  • Methanol trade from the Americas to China
  • MTO process technology and economics – the value of integration
  • Use of methanol in transportation and fuel in China (including direct combustion, blends, MTBE, OME, biodiesel, others)
  • MTBE markets – opportunities, threats
  • The steadily growing Indian methanol market – how will it be supplied
  • Distribution in Southeast Asian markets
  • Regulatory issues in Asia
  • Methanol process technology and economics – maximizing production from current assets

This conference, which allows the world’s major commercial participants to cost-effectively network, meet, and prepare for the following year’s business, has become a “must-attend” event. MMSA has created unique and cost-effective opportunities to present, sponsor, and meet at this conference – please contact us at services@methanolmsa.com or +65 6465 2720 to secure one of these slots if you have not already. MMSA will also hold a limited number of hotel rooms for guests at the award-winning Regent Hotel on a first come, first served basis.
